No centralized installation order desk
Electric Vehicle Infrastructure
EV Charger Installation — Web Platform
Centralized command center for dealers, vendors, inventory, approvals, and installation analytics.
“One portal. One order truth. Complete visibility from kit pick to final approval.”
The business context
How the engagement started, what was broken, and why a platform investment was required.
An EV manufacturer needed a single operations backbone as charger installations scaled across dealer and vendor networks. Existing tools were a mix of spreadsheets, email, and regional trackers — creating blind spots in kit inventory, inspection quality, and approval SLAs.
We designed the web operations layer that orchestrates the full EV charger installation lifecycle. OEM admins, dealers, and vendors run onboarding, kit allocation, work orders, multi-level approvals, and enterprise reporting from one cloud portal — while field execution syncs from companion mobile apps.
The web platform replaces email chains, spreadsheets, and paper job cards with a single system of record for every installation order.
Discovery
Discovery workshops mapped the full lifecycle from dealer sale to final OEM sign-off. We prioritized a command-center web portal that could own master data, approvals, warehouse logic, and analytics while remaining API-ready for field mobile apps.
What was holding the operation back
EV manufacturers scaled charger rollouts faster than their back-office tools. Coordination broke down between dealers, vendors, and HQ — with no live view of kits, inspections, or approvals.
Dealer–vendor assignment done manually
Kit and charger inventory invisible to HQ
Inspection reports stuck in email threads
Multi-level approvals delayed by days
No live SLA or productivity dashboards
Customer feedback never reached OEM reports
Audit packs assembled by hand for compliance
How Quantum Infoway delivered
A consulting-led build: discover, design operating model, ship vertical slices, harden for audit.
A role-based web portal that digitizes dealer/vendor management, order orchestration, inventory, inspection review, and analytics — tightly integrated with field mobile apps.
-
01
We designed a role-based operations portal for OEM admins, dealer ops, and vendor managers — with clear ownership of orders, kits, inspections, and closures.
-
02
Approval chains were modeled as configurable multi-level workflows so regional and HQ policies could coexist without custom code for every exception.
-
03
Inventory and warehouse modules were treated as first-class citizens: kit allocation, stock transfers, and low-stock alerts feed the same order record field teams execute against.
-
04
Analytics focused on cycle time, SLA breach risk, dealer/vendor productivity, and customer satisfaction — giving leadership a weekly operating rhythm.
Delivery story
Delivery ran in vertical slices: dealer onboarding and order creation first, then kit allocation and vendor assignment, then inspection review desks, then executive dashboards. Each slice shipped with audit logging so compliance stakeholders could review early.
What we built
Built an enterprise web portal covering dealer/vendor onboarding, installation order management, kit warehouse control, inspection approval queues, dealer verification, final sign-off, and network-wide analytics.

Built for enterprise scale
Impact & outcomes
The web platform became the system of record for installation operations. Coordination overhead dropped as dealers and vendors stopped negotiating over email; HQ gained live visibility into every open order; and approval packs for audit became exportable in minutes instead of days.
For EV infrastructure programs, the bottleneck is rarely the charger hardware — it is orchestration. This engagement proves that a premium operations portal can turn a fragmented rollout into a measurable, governable network.
